A subscriber's privacy is of utmost importance to Outward Media, Inc. It is important that our affiliate subscribers understand how their personal information will be used.
Our Policy
At Outward Media, we believe in 100% permission-based marketing. Outward Media purchases and manages opt-in email lists generated by affiliate sites and organizations. To subscribe, you must provide your email address. Subscribers may also provide such optional information as their name, postal address, zip code, gender, age and other demographic and interest information. Outward Media or their affiliates send a "request for permission" to all new subscribers via email before initiating contact with advertising offers. After it is confirmed that you, as a consumer, have "opted-in" and chosen to subscribe you will receive offers for goods and services based upon the information you have shared. To better provide subscribers with relevant offers, Outward Media or their affiliates also appends traditional data to email records. On rare occasions, Outward Media or their affiliates will broadcast special offers that would be of value to any online consumer.
We value your privacy. Subscriber names and email addresses will not be shared with any third party without prior consent from that subscriber. Results of mailings are provided to advertisers on an aggregate basis only. Outward Media may however, provide "optional" information such as name, postal address, zip code, age, gender, etc. to third parties for non-electronic media. Each and every offer from Outward Media, Inc. provides subscribers the option to unsubscribe and remove themselves from our database. Once a subscriber chooses to be removed from our database or an affiliate's database, the subscriber will no longer receive any offers from Outward Media. However, removal from Outward Media lists does not prevent continued offers from other websites he or she subscribed to. The subscriber must either visit those websites to unsubscribe, or unsubscribe through the link provided in the email advertisements delivered from those companies. Should you choose to remove yourself from the Outward Media database and terminate your subscription, simply click the remove link in any Outward Media offer.
Outward Media or their affiliates may issue cookies solely to assign a randomly generated, unique identifier to track customer conversions. No personally identifiable information is ever stored within the cookie. Outward Media tracks responses to advertising campaigns, but we do not track your other web browsing activities. Please note that some advertisers' websites may use cookies. It is always a good idea to take the time to review the privacy policy of any site where you enter personal information.
All records in the Outward Media or affiliate databases are maintained in a data center utilizing the latest technologies to secure, house, and serve the data. All data is protected by a firewall and unparalleled security infrastructure, insuring the highest level of security of your personal information.
